The Baron de Hirsch-Back River Cemeteries Inc. is committed to the care and upkeep of two of Montreal’s oldest
Jewish Cemeteries, the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery and the Back River Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Dating back
as far as the late 1800s, the history of Montreal’s Jewish community can be seen throughout the grounds—the
final resting place of myriad people who have shaped the city, including your loved one(s).
